ROSEYE is built around the creative partnership of Tallulah Rose, singer, saxophonist and frontwoman, and Julek Warszawski, the vision and driving force behind the project. What began as Tallulah's project grew into a band, with Tallulah and Julek always at its core. Their sound is genre fluid: the warmth of soul and R&B, the weight and edge of rock, the groove of funk, the flow of hip hop, the spirit of gospel, the melodies of indie pop and the freedom of their jazz roots. Live, they're joined by Kasparas Petkus on drums and Joshua Lutz on keys, close friends delivering a high energy, boundary pushing show.
Fiercely DIY, ROSEYE write, produce, tour and organise events themselves. Their songs are poetic, political and spiritual, shaped by Tallulah's feminist upbringing and her Scottish roots, whose slang and attitude run through the lyrics.
After the jazz leaning debut Every Move (Supersonic Jazz, 2024) and the soul leaning EP Ways of Speaking (distributed by Backboard Music, 2025), ROSEYE are stepping into heavier, more alternative territory with their second album, What Do You Live For, out 14 March 2027. They have taken their sound across the Netherlands, Belgium, Germany, France, Spain, Scotland, England, Poland, Slovakia, Bulgaria, Lithuania, Latvia and Estonia. Festival and showcase credits include:
NL: North Sea Jazz, Eurosonic, Jazz in Duketown, Into the Great Wide Open, Supersonic Jazz Festival, Rockit, New Tide Festival
